The wait is over. 4 years of waiting – over. There’s been headaches, heartaches, and plenty freakin’ more, but it was all worth it. It came as a bit of a surprise for me, but The Abnormals has arrived!
I began this novel 6 years ago when I had no idea how to write, no knowledge of the publishing industry, and had no one to mentor me in my dreams.
I spent the following two years teaching myself the craft of writing, researching all the rules, ranging from the most basic things like how to sculpt scenes, and then how to best develop characterization and plot lines.
I studied the books written from my favorite authors, including J.K. Rowling, J. R. R. Tolkien, to Ruyard Kipling!
I constructed a story with the help of my family and friends, most notably Cairo Matthews (who I have, of course, given a co-author credit) which took another grueling year, and then I began to write!
And now, even though I’m still learning every day, I have finally published my very first novel, AND I’M DAMN PROUD!
I tried my best to capture the feelings that a lot of books had in my childhood: excitement, adventure, mystery, love, humor, and most of all – a feeling that I could be transported into another world for a short little while.
Everyone can feel as though their book is the next great novel and I’m no different: My story was made with people from all walks of life in mind, and I truly believe that my story is timeless, and has something in it for everybody. So if you see the book and you or someone you know loves to read, order a copy for Christmas!
If you pick my book up and give it a chance, that’s all you’ll ever need to want to finish it! Trust me, I spent 3 years analyzing what it took to make a book appealing and professional, and (only moments ago) I used to be just a customer, a reader, just like everyone else.
This isn’t an ad (but you can best believe I’m going to promote the heck out of this), this is just me as an author sharing my story and my dreams with the world, and I’m hoping that people everywhere can share the jumble of feelings that my own book gave me.

Without readers, regular people (even those people that don’t like to be counted), and support of fans I wouldn’t be where I’m at today, and I am so utterly grateful.
I want to thank my family and friends for their support, their love, and their patience during this long process. I also want to thank CreateSpace and Amazon for the services they provide, I really believe they’re doing the world a great service. And lastly, I want to thank all my followers and fans, who I’m doing all of this for! Only with your help I can make The Abnormals a tremendous success! Don’t be late, join the movement.
